Citizens Information – Co Clare

There are three Citizens Information Centres (CICs) in County Clare; Ennis, Kilrush and Shannon.

We provide free, independent and accurate information, advice/assistance and advocacy to the general public on their civil and social rights and entitlements. Our service is confidential and free. We provide a drop in service in all three locations on the following days and times excluding public holidays;

Ennis Citizens Information Centre
Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 10am to 1pm (last entry 12.30) and Mon to Fri 2pm to 4pm (last entry 3.30)

Kilrush Citizens Information Centre
Mon, Tue, Wed – 10am to 1pm (last entry 12.30) and 2pm to 4pm (last entry 3.30)

Shannon Citizens Information Centre
Mon, Tue, Wed by appointment only and Thu 10am to 1pm (last entry 12.30) at Shannon Library and Fri 10am to 1pm (last entry 12.30) at Shannon Family Resource Centre.

Following a consultation with an Information Officer we may provide an appointment if required.
If you have a query or concern, you can contact our centres on the above numbers, give the receptionist a brief description of your query and an information officer will return your call. Our aim is to return your call as soon as is reasonably possible and we strive to return your call within 72 hours.
