These include:
- Parent Support Line. Our team are offering parents and carers a listening ear, parenting tips, guidance and sign posting to other relevant services. The service is available on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 10 am-1 pm on 065 6894200 or parentsupportline@clarecare.ie
- Individual support for children and young people to support their understanding and management of emotional and behaviour issues that may be causing them difficulty at home, school or in their relationships with others; such as anxiety, anger or other strong emotions; living apart from family members; bereavement & loss; parental mental ill health and educational stresses.
- Group Parenting Programmes to support parents. These programmes focus on helping parents to gain understanding of children’s needs and to develop ways to respond to these needs and behaviours. Parents also benefit from peer support and learning together. The programme delivery varies from 8-12 weeks and groups take place on a weekly basis in different locations.
- The Advocacy Service for parents of children in care provides individual and group support for parents whose children are in the care of TUSLA. This support aims to enhance parents’ participation in the care process.

The Clarecare Bushypark Addiction Treatment Service provides a range of community and residential-based services for clients and family members impacted by alcohol, drug (illicit and prescribed), gambling, and other behavioural addictions. We provide confidential phone support, assessment service, one to one counselling, group counselling and aftercare recovery based supports in many locations around the region in addition to online service provision. We also run the 28 day residential programme located at our centre in Bushypark. Family support is provided on a one to one and group sessional basis for those impacted by another person’s addiction or associated behaviours.
